Today two flagships debuted in China before their Global Launch on February 7, and launch in Kenya on February 12th. While the wait is almost over, I want to write this message directly to you, our OnePlus Kenya Community Members, so you get familiarized with the OnePlus 11 5G and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and know what’s to come.
With the OnePlus 11 5G, we are continuing our brand’s heritage of giving you a fast and smooth performance – coupled with Hasselblad’s new and refined camera system. The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will deliver you an immersive audio experience with a sound quality best-in-class.
Specs-tacular
While specs don’t tell the whole story of a device, we are proud to announce that the OnePlus 11 5G will include the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform. With this, the device will offer faster CPU (35% improvement) and GPU (25% improvement) speeds, and improved power efficiency.
While you can configure it with up to 16GB of RAM, the OnePlus 11 5G also contains an advanced RAM management system that will provide better performance in multi-tasking and gaming occasions. You’ll find a 6.7-inch 120Hz 2K A+ fluid AMOLED display with LTPO 3.0, and a 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging system to charge its 5000 mAh dual-cell battery.

Our partnership with Hasselblad is back and with it, the OnePlus 11 5G will be equipped with a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor that will be used for light-color identification. Talking about sensors, we can confirm the main one will be the IMX890 50MP. The portrait lens will be the IMX709 32MP and to showcase the ultra-wide capabilities of the OnePlus 11 5G, it will include an IMX581 48MP.
Purposeful looks, premium feel
The OnePlus 11 5G has an elegant, purposeful design. Look at it and you’ll see a look inspired by a “black hole”. Hold it and you’ll feel its premium texture. And the camera module is a chromed-out, stainless steel piece. This will create exceptional build quality and a premium feel.

For Android users, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will set a new standard in terms of Spatial Audio stability and compatibility. Thanks to our Spatial rendering algorithm, not only they’ll deliver a customized Spatial Audio experience, but also a wide sound field and multi-dimensional sound.
And through our self-developed stereo upmixing algorithm, the stereo sound source of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will provide a Spatial sound rendering effect.
The new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will have a high-precision six-axis IMU sensor for real-time tracking of the head movement. It will monitor the position of the head and recalibrate the audio, ensuring the user is placed at the center.
Dual Drivers to power your music
The MelodyBoost Dual Drivers were co-created with Dynaudio to bring stereo-grade audio quality to the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. While the 11mm driver focuses on the low frequency that allows for deeper, fuller, more textured, and dynamic bass, the 6mm driver will work to bring you a wider range of sound and pure clear vocals.
The design of both drivers utilizes crystal polymer diaphragms. These diaphragms have separate edges and domes that will allow for enhanced balance and tone.
Cancel the superfluous
Finally, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will have industry-leading Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) that will eliminate ambient noise up to 48 dB. Personalized Noise Cancellation is also included to provide the most suitable effect of noise cancellation based on the analysis not just of the leakage, but also of the ear canal.
In terms of autonomy, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 delivers up to 39 hours of music playback with multiple additional charges in the case. They have a dual connection and Bluetooth 5.3 LE audio to ensure that your Bluetooth streaming experience stays Fast and Smooth.

The OnePlus 11 5G and the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be available in Kenya on February 12th. Soon after, the launch on the East African market is scheduled for February 18th.
